TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment Policy:
A 30% deposit is taken at the time of reservation. The remainder will be charged upon check-in.
Check-in and Check-out Policy:
Check-in begins at 3 pm. If you need to check-in early, please provide advance notice and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Guests arriving late in the evening may be asked to check themselves in using personalized entry codes.
Check-out time is 11 am. Late checkout at 1pm is available for $20 upon request.
Room Acceptance:
We strive to provide our guests with exceptionally clean and well-equipped rooms. Guests have one hour after check-in to communicate any issues with the room to management. After one hour without any communication from the guest, it is presumed that guest has accepted the room condition as-is.
Cancellation Policy:
Due to our small size, cancellations impact us greatly. Our guest rooms are considerably unique and are subject to different rate structures. Once you have made your reservation, we guarantee that you will have the specific room you reserved. We remove the booked room from the reservation market and turn away guests who want that particular room for the time that you already reserved. Due to this fact, our cancellation policy is (7) days in advance of the arrival date. If you cancel after the seven days, we cannot refund your 30% deposit. Failure to show up for your reservation will result in a full charge to the credit card entered upon reservation.
Smoking:
All of our rooms and indoor areas of our property are non-smoking. If you are found to be smoking indoors, you will be charged a $200 cleaning fee. Smoking is permitted outdoors at least 20 feet from the building. Please be respectful of other guests while smoking on the premises. Smoke in the building will set off our alarm system, which will prompt a call to 911 and may result the dispatching of fire and police personnel to our site.
Pets:
We do not allow pets. If you are found to have a pet in your room, you will be charged a $200 cleaning fee and you will need to find different accommodations for your pet. If you have a pet on the premises and your pet harms another guest or an employee of Wilder, or damages the premises, you will be held solely responsible for all such injury and damage.
Children:
Children are allowed at Wilder House, but parents with young children may feel better accommodated at an establishment with dedicated children's offerings. We require children to be supervised in the common and outdoor areas of the Wilder House, and parents are responsible for damage caused by children to our furniture, art, and facilities. The best room for families traveling with a child is Room 1, which has a second twin bed. A pack-n-play is available upon request.
Extra Cleaning:
We reserve the right to charge for any damage, removal of items from the premises or unusual cleaning necessitated by your use of the premises. These charges shall be applied to the credit card you provided at check-in.
Occupancy Limits:
Guests found with additional guests (those not disclosed upon booking) shall be found in violation of occupancy limits and shall be charged a fine of $100.
Room Entry by Wilder House staff
Wilder House staff will not enter your room once you are checked-in without your invitation. We do not conduct daily room cleanings or offer turndown service. If you'd like fresh towels, we can provide them at any time during your stay. Guests staying longer than 4 nights may have their bedding refreshed upon request.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is included in your stay at Wilder House, though how we provide breakfast is subject to change as our business evolves. As of April 2025 We provide a made-to-order breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and provide vouchers to Marketplace Kitchen (about .3 miles from our Inn) for guests on Monday - Friday. This partnership gives our guests more meal options and more flexible hours than our small team could offer in-house.
As our occupancy changes throughout the season, we may extend our breakfast dates and options. If you have questions, please reach out before arrival.
Our menu changes from time to time and generally consists of staples like breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, granola, and fresh fruit. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know in advance.
